    Philadelphia 76ers led by Joel Embiid dominate LA Lakers in NBA game.

    Joel Embiid scored 30 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists to help the Philadelphia 76ers beat the visiting Los Angeles Lakers 138-94 on Monday night, scoring the No. 1 win of his NBA career. Six triple-doubles.

    Tyrese Maxey scored 31 points and hit 5 of 12 3-pointers as the 76ers shot 22 of 46 from 3-point range, one 3-pointer shy of the franchise record. Philadelphia won for the fourth time in six games.

    Two former Clippers stepped up for the Nuggets, who were missing Nikola Jokic (guard), Aaron Gordon (heel) and Jamal Murray (hamstring). Two-time MVP Jokic missed the game for the first time this season.

    Kawhi Leonard scored 31 points and Ivica Zubac added 23 points and 14 rebounds for the Clippers, who had won four of their previous five games. Scoring leader Paul George made 2 of 13 shots and scored only 6 points.


    Wizards 126, Pistons 107

    Kyle Kuzma had 32 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists to help Washington beat Detroit on the road, snapping a nine-game losing streak.

    The Pistons suffered a 14-game losing streak, tying the franchise's longest single-season record. They also dropped 14 consecutive games in 1993-94 and 2021-22.

    Cade Cunningham led Detroit with 26 points and seven assists. Osar Thompson scored 16 points and Jaden Ivey had 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. The Pistons made 8 of 38 three-pointers (21.1%).

    Trail Blazers 114, Pacers 110

    Jerami Grant scored 17 of his 34 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Portland Trail Blazers past Indiana in Indianapolis.

    Malcolm Brogdon scored 24 points against his old team, while Deandre Ayton had 22 points and 13 rebounds for the Trail Blazers. Portland won for the second time in three games after an eight-game losing streak.

    Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with 33 points and nine assists. Myles Turner, Benedict Maturin and Bruce Brown each scored 11 points for Indiana, which has alternated wins and losses in eight games.

    Jazz 114, Pelicans 112

    Rookie Keyonte George scored 19 points and hit a clutch 3-pointer to help the Jazz defeat New Orleans in Salt Lake City.

    The Jazz were without leading scorer Lauri Markkanen (left hamstring soreness) for the second straight game, but used a balanced offense to beat the Pelicans at home for the second time in three nights. Utah had seven players score in double figures.

    Zion Williamson had 26 points and seven assists for the Pelicans after missing the game as the Jazz defeated the Pelicans 105-100 on Saturday night.
